BAKE YOUR WINNING SAUSAGE ROLLS
Bake 3 identical sausage rolls for each category you enter, then send them to us in the official box for that category.
Sausage roll boxes will be mailed to you between 21 September 2026 and 23 September 2026.
PACK YOUR SAUSAGE ROLLS
Once you have baked your sausage rolls and they are cold, pack entries securely and courier them to one of the addresses listed under Packing Sausage Rolls.
We must receive your sausage rolls on 29 September 2026 or 30 September 2026.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
- Entry is open to cafés, lunchbars, hotels,
commercial bakers or manufacturers in New Zealand. - The Sausage Rolls entered remain the property
of New Zealand Bakels Ltd. - Acceptance of an Award implies the winner’s agreement to take part in any resulting publicity or promotion.
- “The Bakels Legendary Sausage Roll Competition” name and logo remain the property of NZ Bakels Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.
- Entries will only be accepted in the official entry box,
and no early or late entries will be accepted. - Entrants are responsible for ensuring their entries reach NZ Bakels in good condition.
- Each entry box must include three identical Sausage Rolls.
- In the event of a tie in any category, the tied entries
will be re-judged alongside each other to decide a winner. - The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Multiple entries (different retail outlets entering Sausage Rolls from the same bakery or manufacturer) are not permitted.

5.1.4. Upon participation in one of our competitions or surveys;
